Community Guidelines
Strings is a place for making genuine connections. To ensure that everyone has a good time, we've established these guidelines. If you cross the line, you may be banned.
Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse (CSAE)
Strings (developed by Strings Social) has a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We strictly prohibit the uploading, sharing, or distribution of any content that depicts, promotes, or normalizes child sexual abuse or exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming behaviors, and the sexualization of minors.
Any user found violating this policy will be immediately and permanently banned. We will also report such users and content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies as required by law.
Nudity & Sexual Content
Strings is not a place for nudity or sexually explicit content. Don't post photos that display genitals or nudity. Profiles or photos that are sexually explicit or pornographic will be removed.
Prostitution & Trafficking
Promoting or advocating for commercial sexual services, human trafficking, or other non-consensual sexual acts is strictly prohibited. We will ban any account used to solicit, sell, or facilitate such activities.
Harassment
Do not engage in targeted abuse or harassment against any user. This includes unsolicited sexual content, stalking, or bullying. If someone unmatches you or isn't interested, leave them alone.
Violence & Physical Harm
We have a zero-tolerance policy for violent content. Violent descriptions, photos involving weapons, or threats of physical harm to yourself or others are strictly prohibited.
Hate Speech
Any content that promotes, advocates for, or condones racism, bigotry, hatred, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religious belief, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability is not allowed.
Spam, Scams & Theft
Strings is for personal connections, not business. Don't use the app to drive people to external websites, sell products, or solicit money. Anyone attempting to obtain private financial info from other users will be banned.
Impersonation & Authenticity
Be yourself. Don't pretend to be someone else. Do not use photos of celebrities or other people. Parody accounts are not allowed.
Private Information
Don't publicly broadcast your own private information or anyone else's. This includes social security numbers, passports, passwords, or financial information.
Self-Harm
We care about your safety. Content that advocates for or glorifies self-harm or suicide is not allowed. If you see someone in crisis, please report it so we can provide resources.
